------COMING SOON!!!!!!-----

So Oct. 24th is the annual NAMI (The National Alliance on Mental Illness) Utah State Conference. The conference will have a keynote speaker, along with a variety of panels, workshops, and speakers. This years theme is "Building a Solid Foundation for Life.
As a part of the conference I will be part of the Peer Panel. Me and 3 other ladies will share our experience and insight on having a mental illness and the support of others. Because we only have 2 minutes to answer each question, I will be making 3 videos (one for each question) going into detail , my response for each question.
" This workshop will provide the opportunity for Peers (adults with a mental health condition), to share their experiences & offer insight as to how they could have been better supported throughout their recovery journey & what people can do to support them moving forward."
We will each be answering the 3 following questions, along with a audience Q&A at the end.
1. Briefly share with us how you came to know you have a mental health condition and how you got the help you needed.
2. Tell us more about your recovery process and any barriers you experienced.
3. What advice would you give family, friends, and professionals who want to help support you in your recovery process?
